If you are a follower of Jesus and have yet to be baptized, we encourage you to take that step. The Baptism Class provides an opportunity to talk through the new identity, new family, and new mission that we have in Jesus. It also provides an opportunity to answer any questions you might have as you take this important step. Our next Baptism Class is Sunday, September 6th. Time: 11:30a - 12:30p Location: Fellowship Hall This class will be for our Baptisms on Vision Sunday, September 27th. For kids ages 6 - 12 interested in baptism, we ask a parent/guardian join them for this class. Upon registration, you will be emailed an at-home discussion guide to complete before attending the class. Are you in? ********************** What's "Mens Roundup?" ********************** The Mens Roundup christian conference is a men’s camping retreat held in a forested mountaintop setting at Camp Tadmor in Lebanon, Oregon where men are encouraged to believe, obey, connect, and lead. Roundup features an inspiring primary speaker, well-known guest artists and musicians, biblical teachers leading action workshop breakout sessions, great food, and opportunities for guys to worship, learn, grow, and connect with other guys. Roundup is also a wonderful opportunity to appreciate God’s beautiful creation, hang out with friends, and break a sweat in the Roundup Race or other sports competitions and outdoor recreation activities. Register & pay through this form asap to secure your spot to go with the men from our church. Registration through our church closes Sunday, August 30th. If after August 30 you still want to go, you can register directly on the Mens Roundup website and request to pitch your tent near "Columbia View Church." (note - the registration fee will be higher at that time.) ****************************** How do meals and lodging work? ****************************** Your registration pays for all your meals (dinner Friday - lunch Sunday.) Bring your basic camping gear (tent, sleeping bag, air mattress, etc.) as we will be camping at Camp Tadmor. ****************************** What's the schedule of events? ****************************** More info soon. ********************* How does travel work? ********************* The plan is to carpool. Please indicate on your form if you: * are willing to drive yourself (and others.) * plan to drive alone. * need a ride. **************** What's the cost? **************** $170 paid to Columbia View Church (preferably paid through this online form, but cash or check can also be dropped of in the offering plate in an tithing envelope with your name and "Men's Roundup” during a Sunday worship service.) If money is a struggle right now. please pay half-upfront at your time of registration and then pay off your balance by September 10th.
