What has influenced your perspective of foreign-born individuals? How much of that has been the Bible? Join us as we begin a new teaching series about becoming a faith community of loving welcome in a culture of fearful hostility. The Biblical story has a unique invitation for God’s people to embrace and welcome the sojourner… the foreigner… the immigrant. Join us as we dive into a 6 part teaching series titled “Migration and the People of God” with the goal of exploring this theme of Migration through the 6 biblical moments of Creation, Fall, Israel, Jesus, Church, and New Creation. Our aim is to provide our church family as well as the larger faith community of our time a biblical framework to both think about and respond to the increasing global trend of migration that we feel and see in our own backyard.
